Over 11 years ago, after coming to know the Messiah in a radical and life-changing way, the Holy Spirit gave me (Mo) a very clear vision of a lifestyle and ministry He called 5th Wheel Missions. It was a divine invitation to live mobilized on mission for the Gospel and to embody what it meant to be a sojourner in this world, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus wherever the Spirit instructed. So many elements made perfect sense—Jesus, the disciples and Paul were all transient on mission, the Word itself noted that even the Son of Man had no place to lay His head, and living uniquely in this capacity allowed for the Good News to be spread not only in itinerate ministry opportunities, but in intimate and unique ways along every route. While the fire and passion were there, the timing was not quite right. The Lord knew there was a team to assemble!

When I met Jeremiah in 2012, it was not long before he heard of the God-sized dream. Coming from a generational family background of missionaries, and having grown up moving regularly as a part of an Air Force family, Jeremiah was already familiar with so many aspects of living in motion and following the Spirit’s lead. But 5th Wheel Missions would remain a dream over the next decade as we married, welcomed four beautiful children, and grew in faith, dependence and power in the Lord. In late 2021 the Lord surged the invitation to 5th Wheel Missions back to our hearts and after prayer and fasting, our joy-filled and unified answer became, “Yes, Lord! Your will be done.”
