About Us

Ambassadors Ministries seeks to help local churches, gospel-centered non-profits, and other ministries put commissioned ministry partners on the ground locally and globally to do the work God has called them to. We help enable these ministry partners to raise a team of supporters to join with them in their Gospel-centered callings.

Our Story

Ambassadors was formed in 2008 with the purpose of preaching the Gospel of Jesus. Our background and experience were primarily in College Ministry but our vision was growing. We desired the ability to partner with others in the body of Christ to pursue specific groups of people that God was calling us to. We truly desire the freedom to pursue specific areas of God’s mission and work to do this in partnership together with individuals, local churches, local & global missions, and other non-profit organizations.

Originally most of our endeavors were focused on pursuing those outside the local church but after a few years some of our team, who had planted a church experienced rapid growth numerically but not financially. That financial need created a new idea. They were consistently equipping leaders to step into necessary ministry roles but without the ability to financially support them. It was difficult to mobilize them to their full capacity so they asked, “what if some of these gifted leaders could commit more time to the mission of the church? How could we facilitate that?” Equipped with a clear vision, and a network of support, they were still left needing to figure out how to make it financially viable.

Our model and mission were not born to a group of people trying to come up with a new idea. It came from experience in the trenches of ministry as most of you find yourselves. We hope to see our story replicated, bringing gospel hope and life to our world.

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17-20

Statement of Faith

Ambassadors Ministries is a non-denominational, Christian, nonprofit organization that is wholly submitted to Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior. 

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God. The Holy Spirit inspired the writers of the Old and New Testaments pointing to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. 

  • We believe that there is One God, eternally existing in three persons and revealed to the world in God the Father, God the Son, Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. By Whom all things were created.

  • We believe that God the Father sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to redeem all. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life on this earth, performed many undeniable miracles, was crucified for our sins, buried and was raised from the dead for our justification. By the name of Jesus Christ, and His name only, can humanity be saved. Jesus Christ sits at the Right Hand of the Father and will return personally in power and glory to receive His Church unto Himself.

 

  • We believe all human beings are created in the Image of God and have inherent value and dignity. God invites humanity into the vocation of faithful stewardship over God’s creation and to function as mirrors of our loving, eternal Creator.

  • We believe that humanity is sinful by nature and will perish without the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as revealed in His Gospel. That God wishes that no one should perish, but that all would come to this saving knowledge and personal belief through the presentation of the Gospel to a lost and broken world in need of hope.

  • We believe in the multi-faceted work of God the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin, revelation of the truth of the gospel of Christ, drawing of the sinner to God, adoption of them into the body of Christ through regeneration, and the distribution and administration of the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life. 

  • We believe the local church is God’s chosen vessel for bringing good news to the world. It’s purpose ranges from the discipleship, equipping and care of it’s congregants to the call to love our neighbors, communities, and world for the Glory of God and advancing of Christ’s Kingdom.

  • WE want to see the Kingdom of God present and progressing in every area of life and in all places on earth.

  • WE love the local church, and believe God has raised her up as the primary means for discipleship and gospel proclamation in our world.

  • WE believe God provides all of our needs, and calls the church to steward this provision with wisdom and generosity. 

  • WE are a tool to be used by those working “on the ground”, as such we intentionally come under and work with local church and nonprofit leadership.
