Summer staff counselor & Photographer at camp crosspoint
This summer, I get the privilege of serving at Camp Crosspoint, which is a ministry that has been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I've been there as a camper, a volunteer counselor, and a summer staff member, and I'm so excited to be returning this year as summer staff again.
My main goal this summer is to keep my eyes on the Lord and serve him as well as I can. I want to be there for the kids who need Jesus and teach them about his love for them. Along with the other summer staff, I’ll arrive at camp on May 30th to begin training. After that, we’ll serve for six weeks of summer camp, running from June 11th to July 28th. This year, I’ll be serving in the role of photographer, where I’ll have the privilege of capturing all the exciting moments that happen every minute at camp. I’m praying that the pictures and videos I take will serve as lasting reminders for our campers, their parents, and everyone who comes across camp online of the incredible work that God has done and continues to do here.
Through Camp Crosspoint, God is working to expand His kingdom. Each year, we're seeing kids and youth come to know Him, and we're seeing believers grow in their faith and learn to walk more closely with the Lord. Even here in Pelham, GA, there is kingdom work to be done.
As we head toward the summer, I invite you to join me and the other staff in praying for camp. Please pray for God to begin working even now in the hearts of the campers we'll host this summer, and for them to be open to the gospel; pray for us as staff, as we prepare ourselves mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally for the journey ahead of us; pray for the health and safety of everyone there, that sickness and injury would not be a hindrance to the gospel; and finally, pray that in all that we do, say, and think, God would be glorified.
