Hello Everyone! My name is Audrey Wilkens and I am so excited that you are reading this page. I am twenty years old and a student at The Ohio State University.

Growing up in the church, the truth of the gospel was appealing to me from a young age. As I grew up and faced challenges of many kinds I believed that if I was a good enough person, and did the right things, I would be good enough for Jesus and I would be able to cover the hurt I was experiencing. I was continually wrestling with the desire to please others. As high school continued, my worth was found in who I was creating myself to be. When the pandemic hit and life came to a complete stop, I was humbled by the fact that I was putting my identity in areas of life that would never love me back.

When I got to college at Ohio State, I was hungry for a community where I would grow and deepen my relationship with the lord. Fall of 2020, when the world was chaotic, unsettled, and full of stress, the lord met me in a beautiful, raw spot. For the first time, I understood in my heart and authenticity believed in the power of Jesus. I felt freedom from the lies that I had been living in for so long. I realized that we get to serve others and our communities, because of what Christ has done for us, not what we have done to build ourselves up. The power of the cross gives us access to life that is not based on works, rather it's based on the grace and mercy Christ offers to us. In these past three years, I have developed a deep knowledge that his ways are always better than my own.

As I have walked with the lord, I have been eager to continue to share the news of Christ with others. It is so evident that college culture is hungry for a full life. Being a college student, my heart has been eager for my classmates to experience a life that is fulfilling to their every need. When the opportunity to work alongside 614 College presented itself, it was a very clear yes from the lord. I am beyond expectant of what God will do on Ohio State's campus. There are 65,000 + college students and I cannot wait to see the name of Jesus shared with Ohio State. I invite YOU to join this journey with me!
