Jon Demeter

Pastor at Redemption Peoria

Jon and Teresa grew up in the northwest valley of Phoenix. They both attended the University of Arizona where Teresa played softball and Jon worked as a manager for the women's basketball team. Upon graduating, they joined the ministry of Athletes in Action (the sports ministry of Cru). They spent two years in Ohio at AIA's headquarters being trained for ministry with college athletes. After their training, they returned to their alma mater to serve as the AIA directors for the athletic community for 7 years. They moved back to the valley in 2012 when Jon took the position to direct AIA's Ultimate Training Camps. After 15 years of working with AIA, they felt the Lord calling them to join the staff of Redemption Peoria.

Jon and Teresa both have a deep desire to see the Kingdom of God active in every neighborhood in the West Valley. They have three children (Carson, Logan and Ryhan).
