Kailey Jensen
Director of Community and Global Engagement at Redemption Church Flagstaff
Kailey lived in Flagstaff while attending NAU and fell in love with the mountain town and people. After working internationally for a few years in Global Development and with NGO's caring for vulnerable children, Kailey returned to Northern Arizona and reunited with Redemption Flagstaff Community in 2014. After volunteering and developing the Foster Care, Kinship & Adoption Ministry with Redemption Flagstaff for 3 years, Kailey stepped into staff role of Community and Global Engagement (CGE). As Director of CGE, Kailey disciples leaders in the church and city, works with students who want to learn to integrate faith and loving neighbors in professional spaces, provides support and care for those walking through complex or painful situations, works with Redemption Flagstaff Year 1/ Year 2 interns as well as facilitating events to create communities of intention.
Through relational and tangible ways, Kailey works with immigrant and indigenous leaders to meet needs and increase capacity for the vulnerable in the margins. Working with community partners, Kailey leans in to loving Flagstaff deeply and demonstrating the gospel through partnerships like the Peak School, Arizona127, Champions in Action, Second Saturdays, Summit High School, and other community initiatives.
Bringing a background in Women and Gender Studies, and experience in NGO's and non-profits, child welfare, behavioral health, youth ministry and community development - the goal is to continue developing and deepening relationship with neighbors in Northern Arizona to share the gospel in places that we step into.
