Summer staff counselor at camp crosspoint

I grew up with parents who very much loved the gospel message and the one that provided it. However, they did not have the depth of wealth of spiritual knowledge. Having said that, I was saved and baptized at the age of 11 at church and started going to church camps from there. It was at these church camps that God really started working on my heart. Sometimes life in between those moments was hard because the camps may not have had significant spiritual depth.

If I could change that, I would. Kids have questions, and if through the life God has given me, I can share the knowledge of God with the kids He brings to camp over the summer, I would want them to have the resources I didn’t. If I can share the gospel message without flashy fog machines and heart-racing music and get to the heart of Jesus’ love for children, then I would like to work within the great commission to do so.
